- 1/2 of Cabbage head
- 1 onion
- 2 carrots
- 1diced garlic
- 1 large tomato
- 1 cup of rice
- 3 cups of water
- 2 Tablespoon olive oil
- Salt, pepper, paprika to taste
1. Thinly shred cabbage (discard the core) and place it in a large pot.2. Saute diced onion, grated carrots and diced garlic until soft.
3. Add shred cabbage, grated tomato 1 cup of water and spices (whatever you like it- salt, pepper, paprika.) Mix well and let it cook for about 10 minutes.
4. Add rice and 2 cups of water. Mix again and let it steam for about 30 minutes on low heat stirring it a couple times.
5. Serve with sour cream and enjoy.
