• 1/2 of Cabbage head
  • 1 onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 1diced garlic
  • 1 large tomato
  • 1 cup of rice
  • 3 cups of water
  • 2 Tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, pepper, paprika to taste

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Thinly shred cabbage (discard the core) and place it in a large pot.2. Saute diced onion, grated carrots and diced garlic until soft.3. Add shred cabbage, grated tomato 1 cup of water and spices (whatever you like it- salt, pepper, paprika.) Mix well and let it cook for about 10 minutes.4. Add rice and 2 cups of water. Mix again and let it steam for about 30 minutes on low heat stirring it a couple times.5. Serve with sour cream and enjoy.
